Be it Ever so Humble

Mid pleasures and palaces though we may roam,
Be it ever so humble, there’s no place like home
John Howard Payne

My adventures at home continues with a rustic charm. As a result, this post may end up acquiring a lot of random photographs of country home life. Consequently, country life always ends up with eating food, good food. Although, come to think of it, I am better at photographing random shots. Setup shots takes too much time in my opinion, but that’s one of the perks of being a photographer. Indeed, patience is a required skill, as well as a steady hand.

What more could I possibly blog about at home? There will be possibly, plenty more home blogging in the future. There is so much more you still have to see. That is one of the joys of living in the countryside; nature is right outside your door. Every season is different. My season is winter. Thus hopefully, I will get to share with you at some point my love for winter.

Hence, ‘there’s no place like home’; a famous saying, which started with Dorothy and those magical ruby slippers. Wouldn’t we all like to just click our heels three times, and magically appear back home? It may not be Kansas, but beyond any doubt, it’s where my heart truly lies…home.

I enjoyed your sentiments and your photos. I’ve never tried cooking chicken like that before. That would be perfect for a camping trip meal. Is that a basil vinaigrette?
