Fine Dining in Paris

When visiting Paris, the best thing you can do is to eat good food. Indeed, you have to eat well before you leave. At least if you don’t enjoy the vacation you will in some ways enjoy the food. I definitely enjoyed both, but the food was amazing! I certainly recommend you spend that little bit more on french food. Not only will it be presented at its finest, but you know it will taste just as good. Here are a few restaurants that I recommend in Paris.

La Crêperie de Josselin

France are renowned for crêpes. You will find them everywhere in Paris. However, the best place to taste them is at La Crêperie de Josselin. They have every filling possible from sweet to savoury. In fact, you’ll just have to try both. Although I do suggest the crêpe with ham, cheese and mushrooms. It is simply to die for.

A trip to Paris will not be perfect, without a visit to the famous Ladurée. Famous for their macarons, expect to wait in line; a very long line for these small and tasty treats. They come in all sorts of flavours, ranging from chocolate to rose petal.

Le Procope

Le Procope, opened in 1694 is a traditional french restaurant of beauty. As you enter the restaurant, you are greeted by a beautiful and cosy interior design. Le Procope is famous for their tender beef, from beef stew to their popular calf’s head. Yes, calf’s head, you really have to try it before you judge the dish. The restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Angelina offers a more realistic fine dining approach. The food offered here, are a very modern french cuisine, presented rather well. For suggestions, I recommend their seafood. It is amazingly scrumptious. Photographs from the Angelina restaurant are found below.

  1. That is some fancy dining, perhaps too fancy for me. The fish looks like it’s melted in a bowl of custard =/ though it could just be my primitive mind, usually if a fish isn’t in finger form, I’m not interested haha

See you in the Judges Booth, lol

  3. Christie

I’d prefer the crêperie for I feel like eating something sweet right now. 🙂 And the fish looks just exquisitely. Mmm, yummy! I don’t know if I’ll get a chance to visit Paris again one day but Angelina would certainly be found at the top of my list of eating venues. The only Parisian restaurant I’ve been to is this goofy place in Montmartre called Le Refuge des Fondus. It’s used to be put into the category of the world’s most unique restaurants. For a good reason. I have to admit that the food they offer isn’t of the highest standard as you’d expect it to be in Paris. The way they serve it, however, stands out of the norm. When you order wine, they pour it into baby bottles. Now, imagine all the customers sucking at their bottles like toddlers! Quite hilarious. Plus, the fondue is outstanding!

  4. I will definitely be visiting Ladurée when in Paris on my food tour: will check out the other places too! Are you part French/linguist or did you just like the blog name better en francais?
