Fashion photography has always crossed my mind. Not only do you have to be good at directing models, but you will need a good knowledge of photo editing. Perhaps that is why I have always preferred nature photography. However, I do love capturing emotions and experimenting with lighting.
During my newbie photography years, I had the chance to work for a retail fashion company. I had many doubts accepting this opportunity, as I had never shot with models before. Nevertheless, I took the opportunity to gain some experience. Surprisingly, it went rather well.
We spent at least two days exploring London and photographing within the touristy zones. I felt like a proper professional photographer. During those two days, we had many onlookers. It was fun, to say the least. Overall, I treasure the experience and I do hope to photograph more fashion shots in the future.
After many years looking back at the experience, I have finally found the time to re-edit the fashion shots. Remarkably, I did a lot more editing. Back in the day, my only editing skills included adding contrast and colours. Hence, I am glad that I had the chance to review them once more.
Subsequently, I include below the photographs of my first fashion photography. I have spent a lot of time picking out the best photographs. I am sure there are more, but for now, these are the best.
