Hidden Treasures

“The human heart has hidden treasures,
In secret kept, in silence sealed;
The thoughts, the hopes, the dreams, the pleasures,
Whose charms were broken if revealed”
Charlotte Bronte

Hidden away from the hustle and bustle of London life, there lies a peaceful canal known as Little Venice. A beautiful place, in which I never even knew existed. I call these places hidden treasures. A place where you can go to escape the busy city life. There are many hidden gems in London. You just need to look for them. In fact, the best way to look for them is to get lost. Lose yourself in a city and you just might find your hidden treasure. Naturally, it may be wise if you kept your newfound hidden treasures to yourself. Tell no one, and you just might have found a place to relax and to enjoy reading your favourite novel.

  1. My hidden treasure is St Katherine’s Docks.. Lizzy first took me there. I’d never think of going there otherwise, but since have taken many there when doing little tours around London.
