La Plume Noire Photography

A New Beginning

Happy 2013! I hope you all have had a great Christmas. I literally spent mine on a plane to Hong Kong. It has been a very long time since I have blogged. Many changes have happened. La Plume Noire has turned 2! It feels very strange that I started blogging in 2010. Here’s to another year! I am confident that this year will bring many new opportunities, especially opening my online store. As Sam Cooke once sang “It’s been a long, a long time coming, but I know a change gonna come, oh yes it will” It will indeed…eventually.

I begin by turning over a new leaf. As it is a brand new year, I have redesigned La Plume Noire. It is all looking rather dashing, I might add. I have added new categories, as well as a FAQ page, which might be helpful to you all. Certain post links should now be fixed. In addition to all this, I introduce to you a new blog theme, “Gridspace“. Changing themes are always troublesome. I had to go through each and every individual post, changing its featured image and fixing quotes. The only thing I dislike about this theme is the humongous font size, but I am sure the theme will grow on me. Let me know of your thoughts.

What’s to be expected in the coming months? I have a lot of photographs backed up on my computer that I’ve not shown to you yet. I will of course continue with the “A to Z photography project, as well as “Wordless Wednesdays“. Before that though, I have photographs from my recent Hong Kong trip to show to you all. I will hopefully be posting these images in the next few blog posts. So keep a lookout; there should be some amazingly cute photographs. In fact, I might just give you a sneak peek below.
