Summer would not be summer without a good old-fashioned holiday. We have had beautiful weather this year in England. One of the best places to go for an English summer holiday would be Cornwall. Thus, a group of us decided on a road trip around Cornwall, exploring and photographing the best it had to offer. For the duration of our stay we rented a small cottage near Falmouth. We heaved our bags into a 4×4 and our 6 hour drive to the South West coast began.
“You have arrived at your destination”
Our cottage ended up being in the middle of an english countryside aka the middle of nowhere. It sure is a great place to relax. A little peaceful gem in Cornwall; the perfect little hideaway from London.
Our first day out was a trip to the Eden Project. The world’s largest greenhouse with plants from all over world. It was a beautiful place. The Eden Project definitely kept my camera busy; luckily I packed two of my lenses with me. Not only did I manage to photograph a lot of flowers, but I also got to capture many insects and butterflies.
If you haven’t visited the Eden Project, I highly recommend it. If you love nature and plants then it is certainly worth it. It’s fun for all ages, especially for younger children, as there are a lot of interactive activities.
