Q: What equipment do you use?
A: I own a Nikon D700. It was my first major photography investment. When it comes to lenses, I own three: 14-24mm 2.8, 24-85mm 3.5-4.5 and 70-200mm 4.0. I love them all, but when it comes to daily use, the 24-85mm lens is always on my camera, due to the lighter weight.
Q: What software do you use for editing?
A: I use Lightroom 4 as my main software. I am a self-learner when it comes to editing photographs. I usually do a lot of experimental editing; mainly cropping and adding contrast to my images. I also own Photoshop CS5, but I only use it to resize my images. After switching to a Macbook Pro in 2012, I rarely edit photographs in Photoshop.
Q: Can I use your photographs?
A: If you would like to use my photographs, please contact me first and provide me your reason(s). You can of course download my images to use as a desktop wallpaper. For commercial use, please contact me.
Q: Can you give me some photography tips?
A: Use any camera you have, go outside and start shooting. Keep in mind photographic compositions such as Rule of Thirds, Focal Points, Framing etc. Of course, rules are always meant to be broken, but it’s good to have a basic knowledge of the rules first.
Q: How did you create your image header?
A: I have always used Photoshop to design my image headers. All photographs on this site has been photographed by myself. You can find some good free fonts at dafont.com. I sometimes create headers and book covers for my readers. If you would like to request a design, then please contact me.
